Due to SAR requests, here is the class that will help your visual awareness.If your subject was unconscious and within 30 feet, would you be able to find them? We believe that having the ability to hide well imporves your ability to find the hidden. Learn how to become more aware of your surroundings. This event should be of particularinterest to Law Enforcement and SAR personnel.

Cost includes lodging, meals, and instruction. In short, for about the cost of a one night motel stay you get a fun filled weekend of awareness training.

About the Instructors
Roy Hutchinson
Roy's 40-plus years of experience include 17 years in Search and Rescue. He is a member of the International Society of Professional Trackers (ISPT) and a former Operational Tracker with the Search and Rescue Tracking Institute (SARTI). He has lent his tracking expertise to the U.S. Military, Law Enforcement and numerous Search and Rescue teams. Roy teaches as a volunteer instructor for the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries. He has extensive experience in tracking and survival on unsupported trips in numerous extreme environments.

Will Dotson
Will’s 21-plus years of outdoor experience include 10 years in Search and Rescue. He is a member of the International Society of Professional Trackers (ISPT) and is an Operational Tracker and Assistant Director of the Search and Rescue Tracking Institute (SARTI). Will is also a member of Commonwealth Search and Rescue and the Training Officer of Carroll County Search and Rescue. Will teaches animal tracking, short term survival, use of wild plants, etc. as a volunteer instructor for such organizations as the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries, Girl Scouts of America and Boy Scouts of America.
