Facilities
During the months of September through April (by the day or week) and weekend year-round, Holiday Lake 4-H Educational Center facilities are available for groups of groups up to 120 to experience the stress-free, back-to-basics atmosphere.

The Rachel F. Lawson Family Dining Center: full service dining facilityarea can double as breakout/meeting rooms (24’ x 120’). There is a smaller dining room attached to the main dining hall that seats 40 for smaller groups.
Conference Room: meeting room that seats up to 60 people and is equipped with video capabilities including a projections screen, over head projection, TV, and VCR. Wi-Fi available.
We have overnight bunk style accomodations for 130 in the cooler months and 250 in the warmer months
Cabins 1-15: each cabin sleeps 10, four over/under bunk beds and 2 twin beds in center. Not heated.
Bunkhouse: sleeps 64 total. Two top rooms sleep 14 each with over/under bunk beds with bathrooms attached, two bottom rooms sleep 18 each. Heated.
Boy's Bunkhouse: sleeps 34 total. Four rooms with four over/under bunk beds and 2 single beds in the center hall. Heated.
Lake Lodge: sleeps 24 total. Two rooms with six over/under bunk beds with bathrooms attached. Heated.
Outdoor recreational facilities include canoeing, fishing, and hiking on various trails that wind through the adjacent Appomattox/Buckingham State Forest. Additionally, there are volleyball, tennis, basketball courts, a softball field, Jr. Olympic swimming pool and covered picnic/pavilion areas.
Jr. Olympic Swimming Pool: summer only. Lifeguard required (1:33).
