  • Workshop Information
    • Choose your own scarf adventure.
    • Begin with a naked loom, and weave a beautiful scarf.
    • This class will let you try one of many techniques.
    • Have a structure or a draft you've been wanting to try?.
    • Did you miss a topic from an earlier class?
    • Design can come from this list, and more: Twill, Lace, Textures, Wafles, M's and O's, Double Width, Stripes, Color, and Weave Effects, Iridescence, Inlay, Clasped Weft
    • No idea what you want to learn? No problem; I have lots of examples.
    • Use a shaft loom or a rigig heddle loom.
    • Shaft looms available for rental or sale after class, if desired.
    • No prior weaving experience necessary.
    • Small class size, for teens and adults.

About the Instructor

Patricia Morton has been weaving for over 30 years. As a “workshop junkie”, she has studied at numerous seminars and weaving conferences. She exhibited her work with four New England guilds, prior to relocating to Appomattox, Virginia. Her work has been featured in Handwoven magazine. She sells her handwovens online. Patricia loves to spread her passion for weaving. She has introduced numerous adults and children to weaving. She is co-owner of Treeditions, a weaving, woodworking, and weaving tools company. Additional Information

Rustic but comfortable, bunkstyle lodging is provided. Please bring your own linens, pillow and toiletries.

Meals are provided from Friday dinner to Monday lunch. Please let us know of any dietary needs.

An information packet will be sent to you, upon registration completion.
